Most people love to talk about their wins — the clients, the growth, the “CEO” title.
But the truth? Real business growth is often built on stress, hard decisions, and fixing things you didn’t break.
This is the part of my journey no one saw coming — and I’m sharing it because someone out there needs to know it’s normal. You can go through the hard parts and still come out stronger.
First — I Took Over a Damaged Business (And Rebuilt It Into Something New)
I co-owned an accountancy firm.
From the outside, things looked fine — but deep down, I felt something wasn’t right.
There were cracks in the foundation, decisions that didn’t sit well, and behaviours that raised questions.
Still, I trusted in the partnership. I believed in what we were building.
Eventually, I made the decision to split the business — a move meant to bring clarity and a fresh start.
But instead, my former business partner took actions that seriously damaged the company — removing clients, making reckless decisions, and breaking the trust, we had built with the people who relied on us.
It was hard. Really hard.
But loyalty and professionalism matter.
And because I stayed honest, transparent, and focused on delivering what I promised — half of the accountancy practise clients remained loyal.
What meant just as much was this:
At least few of the clients who had been removed or misled during that period also came back — not because I asked, but because they trusted me.
They returned to someone who delivered what was promised — and often, more.
That experience hurt — but it taught me what real leadership looks like.
And it’s exactly why I decided to create my own accountancy practice, built entirely on integrity, structure, and genuine support for business owners.
So I Built another business — My Own Accountancy Practice Done Right
After everything I had gone through, I knew exactly what business owners deserved:
➡️ Clear communication
➡️ No hidden fees
➡️ Proper systems
➡️ Real support, not generic answers
➡️ And someone who does what they say they’ll do
That became the foundation for my new business —premium accountancy practice for UK business owners.
With All Inclusive packages, my accountancy practise takes care of everything:
- Bookkeeping
- VAT
- Payroll
- CT600
- Year-end accounts
- Reminders & submissions
- HMRC communication
- Monthly support and advice
It’s designed for business owners who don’t want to juggle 20 different tasks.
They want calm, clarity, and confidence that everything is being done properly.
This new business became the accountancy service I wish existed when I was going through chaos.
Then — I Built WWACCOUNTS: A Learning Platform for UK Business Owners
While my accountancy practise handles the hands-on work, I kept seeing something else:
Many business owners aren’t struggling because they’re bad at business.
They’re struggling because no one taught them the basics.
So I created WWAACCOUNTS — not an accountancy firm, but a learning and support platform.
Through WWACCOUNTS, my team teach business owners:
- How to understand their numbers
- How to avoid common HMRC mistakes
- How to grow without fear
- How to stay legally and financially safe
- And how to build a business that works for them
Articles, guides, resources — all written in simple English, no jargon, no judgement.
WWACCOUNTS is where business owners finally get clarity.
And Then — I Created Red Flag Checker
(Because No One Else Was Warning People Early Enough)
After working with countless clients, I noticed the same thing:
They only found out there was a problem when it was too late.
Late filings.
Incorrect tax returns.
Overdrawn director’s loans.
Wrong VAT schemes.
Missing records.
Avoidable penalties.
Not because they meant to make mistakes — but because no one gave them the tools to spot the issues early.
So I built one.
Red Flag Checker
A simple, private, free tool designed to:
- Spot risky accounting patterns
- Identify common HMRC red flags
- Highlight bookkeeping issues
- Flag VAT and expense mistakes
- Protect business owners before it becomes costly
It’s built from real-life experience, not theory.
Because I don’t want anyone else to go through stress they didn’t see coming.
What This Journey Taught Me
- Fixing a business is harder than starting one — but far more rewarding
- Loyalty and honesty build stronger foundations than any marketing strategy
- Clients stay with people they trust — not flashy promises
- If your instincts say something’s off, listen
- Growth isn’t always “starting over” — sometimes it’s rebuilding what someone else broke
- Sometimes the tough decision is the right one
Why I’m Sharing This
Because you might be where I once was:
Confused.
Tired.
Overwhelmed.
Cleaning up someone else’s mistakes.
Or realising your business needs more support than you can give it alone.
You don’t need to be perfect to grow. You just need clarity, courage, and the right support behind you.
I rebuilt a damaged business.
I founded my own accountancy practise.
I launched WWACCOUNTS as a platform to teach others.
I created Red Flag Checker to protect business owners.
And I did it all by staying loyal to my values.
If you’re ready to step into that same clarity — I’m here.
Thank you for reading my story. I hope it reminds you that you’re not alone — and you’re always allowed to rebuild.
If it feels hard right now, just know:
You’re probably on the edge of something worth fighting for.
Warmly,
Eglė
